HOW TO ACID WASH ?
Step 1. Sweep down well. Ensure pavers are dry.
Step 2. Mix up premier acid wash as per label instructions and stir well.
Then pour onto pavers very evenly. Be careful not to allow drips onto dry pavers as it will leave drip marks.
Read instructions carefully before applying or you will get drip and etch marks which will spoil the appearance of the pavers and will show up badly once sealed.
Do it once do it right!! There are no second chances!
Step 3. Mix your next watering can of solution and carry on from where you left off.
Do not wash off pavers until all acid wash is done. Once done then wash entire patio off with a hose and good broom.
If the pavers are still patchy or the finish is not even enough then repeat the acid wash process. You can repeat this process several times until you are happy but remember that each wash will etch the pavers more.
DO NOT SEAL UNTIL YOU ARE HAPPY WITH THE FINISHED SURFACE.
And ensure you have thoroughly cleaned the surface and that it is bone dry before sealing. To test for moisture in the pavers, simply place a piece of clear plastic eg glad wrap on the surface of 1 or 2 pavers and weigh them down and check if moisture beads under the plastic. You may need to use a heat gun or hair dryer to dry out shaded spots.
